I’m thrilled to introduce the world to the new-and-improved Margaret Snider & Co. I’ve been working behind-the-scenes for months, putting in some major heart work and burning the midnight oil to improve the client experience and put a gorgeous face to this business.

After a decade of working with brides, individual clients, and brands, I’ve made the decision to expand. I’ve always known my “why” but now I’m shouting it from the rooftops! I want to make women feel beautiful. I want to empower them to see their own beauty and embrace it. The best part? I’m bringing on a small-but-mighty team of artists to work alongside me who are just as passionate about beauty and self-love.

It’s always pained me to have so many wonderful clients reach out to me, only to be turned away because I’m already booked with someone else. I now have 3 other talented women working as MS&CO artists on weddings and individual client appointments. It’s our approach to beauty that will truly set us apart.

It isn’t just about how you look. It’s about how you feel!

When I sat down last August and began the long process of diving into a complete rebrand, I stared at a blank piece of paper on my desk and felt a sense of overwhelm as a tried to find the words to describe why I do what I do. Why am I a hairstylist & makeup artist? What makes me so passionate about this industry? What is it about beauty that makes me jump out of bed in the morning, eager to work with my clients?

After a day of brainstorming and mapping out my thoughts, it became clear. For me, beauty is more than the physical. It’s a feeling. Women put on makeup and take the time to do their hair because they want to feel a certain way.

Confident. Sexy. Empowered. Like a bride. Feminine. Strong. Youthful. Elegant. Timeless. Beautiful.

They’re all just words but they have one thing in common. They’re words women use to describe how they want to feel when their makeup and hair is done by me. It’s all about feeling. Beauty is this incredibly transformative service that may only last a day in-person but the way a woman feels while she’s wearing a hairstyle and makeup that makes her feel beautiful can have a lasting impact on the memories she makes during the most important moments in life. Sometimes I’m hired for weddings and maternity sessions. Sometimes it’s just date night or a girl’s night out. No matter what the occasion is, the request from the client is always the same. She wants me to make her feel a certain way.

What I hear, time and time again, from past clients and other vendors is that I provide so much more than a simple service. It’s a complete beauty experience. I wanted my brand to reflect my love for this business and the quality of service I provide every single person who sits in my chair. Moving forward, this level of service will be given to every person who has the opportunity to work with an MS&CO artist.

I hired Jenna, of White + Salt, to work with me on the rebrand of the visual aspects of my business. She created a brand that clearly defines what MS&CO is. It’s beauty for the modern woman. From the colors we selected to the illustration she made just for me, it feels so right. I finally have a brand that speaks to my clients. I can’t even begin to explain how thrilled I am at the final result.

In the end, my hope for the future of this business is simple. I want every client who works with Margaret Snider & Co to feel empowered and beautiful because women deserve to be proud of their beauty and feel confident for the most important moments in life.

Let’s make you feel beautiful.
